The Soggy, Foggy Campout
Author(s): Henry Winkler; Lin Oliver; Scott Garrett (Illustrator)
"We Love Nature Day" is fast approaching, and everyone in Hank?s class gets to write and perform a poem. One problem- Hank has no idea where to start. When his mother suggests they go on a family camping trip for inspiration, Hank discovers that he?s good at camping. But Dad is extremely uncomfortable and goes to spend the night in a motel, leaving Mom, Hank, Frankie, and Emily to fend for themselves. When a thunderstorm ruins their night, Hank is able to save the day. In the end, Hank comes up with a great poem to share at "We Love Nature Day." In fact, his poem is so amazing that he wins first place-and his father?s respect!
